Under the umbrella of the 'Association For Goetheanistic Research' at 'Cereal Breeding Research Darzau' criteria for breeding cereals are developed under bio-dynamic farming. In particular the focus is on the special situation of organic farming (soil fertility, natural manure, weed competitiveness, seedtransmitted diseases) and nutrition of human being as an organism with spiritual skills. Becoming aware of the importance of older or new characters of cereals, we try to put them into action by breeding new varieties for modern circumstances of organic farming.

On the way to new, organic bred varieties the cultivation in our area was analyzed and changed as described. Also the situation of seed-law and seed-rights was analyzed and new contracts were developed and described. Last not least the available varieties from our selection will be described in their characters, creation and genesis.
